A few random thoughts on this:
Giving a mangonel could make drush way more dangerous tbh. Right now there is no way you can outright destroy a TC in dark age.
A mangonel isn't a scout in any way. You will not find your opponent's base and if you do, single villagers/militia might be able to...
Some provocative statements, that could help identifying players in tournaments like this. I'd like to stir up some discussion:

The players themselves know whom they are playing against after the first game.
(ping, pre-game interactions, skill, play-stile)

Really great games. IMO Aftermath showed that they are dangerous as hell, even preparing advanced sling strategies. This could have gone either way, I am really looking forward what this team can do in the next events :-)
Just realized that in the upcoming 4v4 ECL tournament, we gonna have Secret vs AM in round 1 :D. Whoever wins this first match could easily win the whole thing, so I guess we gonna see a lot of TG practice of both teams the next weeks :-)
Would it be possible to numerically rate the quality of a players map? This way one could do interesting statistics, like comparing to the result of the game as suggested before.
