literally why not... how do you expect the elo system to tell those two apart when they won exactly the same games and there is no objective indicator of who carried more in the game. Maybe the lower elo trains a lot of 1v1 and gets better over time, who tf knows.

both those mistakes are not mistakes a player with 10000 high level games such as Hera would make. He doesn't just throw away units for free (be it villagers, scouts, mangonels, monks, whatever) and doesn't just make 10 defensive monks against nothing...

monks aren't THAT good, the issue here is that Hera is good and fast and micronerd, so when Hera makes monks, they look good, even more because they repay for themselves by collecting relics and healing, and not necessarily by doing damage.
I feel the issue is more that if you make some monks...
Wanting to ban some civs you don't wanna face sounds like skill issue to me.
If I wanna main Romans or some ****, why would you want to stop me from doing so?
What do you really gain from not playing against some civs? It's not like there's some civ in the game that absolutely ruins the balance.
