Hera wins a couple of tournaments and suddenly he's "undisputed #1" and is separated from top4. Viper himself has not been considered undisputed #1 for a long time and during his "worst" year where he still won more than anybody else it was also still Hera who was mostly hyped up. He certainly...
You mean he should learn from Nili and use tournaments that aren't his as a platform to push politics and his personal agendas onto viewers?
Nili should be free to invite whoever he wants here and shouldn't have to explain himself to anyone but a lot of these anti memb sentiments are argued in...
Started off as decent suggestions and then got more and more ridiculous. What's the point of even having civs if you're going to give them 5% bonuses. 90% of these would make the game worse and more generic.
So the complaint is that the game is too much about the money but also that not enough players earn money playing it? Literally 99.99% of the player base doesn't make money off it. If you stay off like a couple of twitch channels, you wouldn't even know tournaments are happening and it would...
They are though, whether we like it or not. And IF you're going to use a 100k AOE tournament as a platform to push your views then at least make sure they are factually correct. Thousands of migrant workers did not die building the stadiums, that is just plain false. The numbers refer to deaths...
"You probably can't do it better so you're not allowed to voice your opinion" is a very flawed argument. You don't have to be a chef to say the food isn't good.
I mean, it's similar to going to a football game. You may end up with a few drunk blabbering idiots around you but still beats sitting alone in the stands. Most of the chat is useless but some of it isn't.
"It depends" is a meme but also a valid response as well. Just look at the knights...
So much wrong with this take, lol. Saying "AoC survived" is not the equivalent of saying AOE2 survived. You do know how and thanks to what the game survived to this day, right?
If the game really is in such a good state as you're saying, absolutely nothing is standing in the way of it killing aoe2. But it won't because it isn't.
Sounds like you're one of those people I'm talking about. It can't be that others have a different opinion to yours, no. It has to be that they are afraid of thinking differently to your superior knowledge and are all mindless drones who click a downvote button when they see you. Even if you...
Strongly disagree with this idea that voobly players have a good idea how the game "should work". Plently of players on both platforms who have played on voobly spouting nonsense thinking their opinion is the only correct one because they played pre DE. Seen this time and time again or Reddit...
By default it's the most upvoted content that is on top, yes. It doesn't mean it's not for discussion. I like the chronological order of posts that you get with forums but that system has its cons as well. You have to go through a bunch of semi related or completely unrelated posts to reach...
It's kinda ironic that you say Reddit is a "safespace" due to the upvote/downvote system when Aoezone in fact only has the equivalent of an upvote.
Most of the time I see people complaining about being downvoted is due to the way they express their opinions, not due to having the opinion...
So unlike here where the exact same exchanges happen but without the butthurt that comes from being downvoted?
Seems a lot of negativity towards casuals on here. I don't even play campaigns but at times I still read single player related posts on there. Or people proudly describing how they...
For #1, do you really want to go there considering the quality of our balance suggestion daily threads on here? The others don't seem like a bad thing to me.
You're looking at everything in complete isolation and make suggestions based on that. Drill is not broken, it does not need a nerf. If the devs were somehow crazy enough to listen to your balance changes, all civs would end up being exactly the same as every single bonus is unfair according to you.
Lancers replacing the knight line is a very common suggestion but I don't see how it solves anything. They would still be nothing more than better or worse knights, no clear role for them. And then you have balance issues with Cumans losing paladins.
