I like Viper and don't think he would cheat intentionally. However, I still think this is problematic. When he acknowledged the "chemistry" thing, it bothered me a bit. Even with the opponent's permission to stream without delay, I think reading chat during a tournament game is a bit too far...
Tweak the game such that there are counters to strategies but never make a game less strategical. If there is just one way play to the game, its a boring game.
No sane person hates Hera. They probably dislike one player dominating every tournament just like Viper did for a while.
So its not necessary to overreact to an overreaction but I guess as Kolya said thats the internet.
Next Hidden Cup, T90 will have Empire wars like start with farms and houses already placed. Then all those 'GG' and player color stats will look so cool.
Its a new meme originating from Margougou saying "Stay Humble" in a french accent about not being too confident about your picks. It arrived on T90's stream via Dave in his best Margougou impression.
That could be a fair assessment but I feel those concepts are a bit vague and harder to judge and can be quite subjective. When one is on the back foot, strategies and plans falter.
The walling behind for chop and walling vil building TC, stone walling a side(1st game) are all Jordan traits. But they could be some other players' trait too, I guess.
It would be really nice to see a graphic showing how many times Hera loses starting scout v starting scout fight in feudal and how many times he loses a vil before his opponent does to 2 scouts in feudal.. I'd assume it would be less than 5% and 10% respectively.
One downside about this tournament is that for the players who are also streamers, this doesn't give them as much exposure (same with the teams sponsoring them) if this were not hidden identities even though its likely to be have really high viewership. I mean compared to a regular format.
The video title and the video thumbnail are clickbait (thats the YouTube game though). They state that "the settings are pretty bad" and asking if the settings are really what they want. On the video itself most of the suggestions, criticisms and feedback are measured and make sense. However, I...
I don't think you were banned for saying the truth.
Imagine if you went to someone'e house for whatever reason and insulted their friends. The person might not allow you to be in their house anymore. Now you might say that you were just saying the truth but they took it as an insult.
There is...
Well its on the assumption that there would be more spots. You could have that by having more qualifiers or more people from the current bracket getting qualified. Sure, it would be more difficult for some players if the latter was implemented and it maybe slightly unfair for some people to play...
Agreed.
Its commendable that the prizepool for the Qualifiers have increased but its very hard to see why so many players keep getting invited especially for an online event. I can understand slightly for a LAN but I think there should have been only 4 invites. My opinion is that it should have...
The standard of proof for any wrong doing has to be higher than assuming it happened because it could happen. In regards to conflict of interest, the same logic that may apply to public institutions may not necessarily apply to private organizations. There can be cases where the person with...
While this maybe true, the problem is the ratio of people that posts normal/other random things to conspiracies is probably a lot different in those forums.
