There you have it: you honed some specific strategies but your understanding of the game is lacking. You probably have trouble adapting and can't deal with situations where the enemy has the initiative or disrupts whatever specific strategy you are trying to pull off.
Nothing wrong with that...
I think it's important to differentiate online gambling as in slot machines etc. and poker. Doing good in the long run in poker is possible and depends on your skill. Doing good in the long run in gambling (slots, roulette, ...) is (essentially) impossible.
Nili made it crystal clear at every...
I’m not saying they don’t deserve any credit. I’m saying the amount they demand and they do it is way disproportionate.
Consider the amount of screen time LobbySimulator has combined the !voobly commands in many twitch streamer chats and banners in the stream description, as well as vocal...
Voobly seems to ignore that they are built on a Microsoft game. Not only that, but also a game only made playable by scripter and the other talented people involved in UserPatch. A game that’s brought up to date with the main competitor (HD) by the people behind Wololokingdoms.
Without any of...
First HiddenCup was a lot of fun. Great to see it return.
Also the nicknames will be a great tool to create intriguing narratives (and make it easier to Remember who played what).
Looking forward to it
This might be true for one dimensional civs (theres also good one dimensional civs) but I just don’t see why two versatile civs with sub par eco should lead to less sophisticated strategies.
I think that specific sports analogy lacking because players can still utilize their full skill and the winner is still decided based on how good they play AoE.
Both players playing mid-tier civs still has the same decision making and the same tight micro battles.
Imagine a game where both...
and contrary to Vietnamese, Britons were picked multiple times in NAC2.
But yeah, the distance from Top Tier to Viet is pretty far. However it doesn't invalidate what I said.
Come to think of it separate Low/Mid/High tier civ pools would be interesting
The civs are only bad compared to the top tier civs. Most of them are held back by a lack of a good eco bonus not because they lack the options that make for interesting gameplay.
Take Khmer:Diverse Tech Tree with great cavalry, great elephants and (almost) FU Arbalest. What holds them back in...
While that’s true I think this topic is clearly a case of not knowing what randomness looks like.
Ipseudorandom numbers are totally sufficient to draw one out of 31 a few times.
It’s actually pretty simple:
“1sec, door” pause is totally fine. Unpausing that is not cool.
Long pauses over 5 mins or ~1min if no reason is given are inconsiderate and you can unpause that without feeling bad about it.
Simple as that.
The acceptance of pauses is one of my favorite things about this game.
And I think it's necessary. I don't really know how long a game will go before I start it: 20 min Feudal gg or a 1.5h Imperial slugfest.
Sometimes something will come up during an hour of gameplay and even if it's only...
I‘m actually impressed by the amount of constructive criticism and politely voiced dissappointment in this thread.
If you leave aside a few haters (and conspiracy theories about trying to hurt membs tournament) I think you’re left with good suggestions and honest feedback that I’m sure the...
