Hi, I'm starting to play again and I'm just playing Black Forest "No rush" games, which means every player can build themselves for X amount of time (generally 40 to 50 min) and then you start attacking.
I always have a better boom than my opponents (literally, ALWAYS), but sometimes they win... I've seen myself on a tiny corridor being slaughtered by Siege Onagers and bombard towers... I can't seem to find my attack balance, I don't know how many vills is okay to kill in order to build more army. After I lose a game, I see my opponent's town and they have less TCs, less vills, less everything, and I was about to kill them lol. Recently, I've never lost by a big difference, it's always like if I had killed a few more army and military buildings, I would have won... and that sucks. How would you recommend to play on these kind of maps/situations? I always start attacking and my enemies wall themselves and are surrounded by towers, castles, ranged units, siege units, etc. I end up losing a lot of army trying to kill them and then they counter-attack. Should I just wait? I hate playing like that lol. What unit combination is good? Do you have any recorded games showing a fight on "BF conditions"?
Thanks.
