I think this has the same issue as the HC4 brackets, where one player could pick potentially all 4 homemaps, while the other player doesn't get to pick any homemaps. The same goes for most of the other match formats.Game 1: 1-0 lead for WB Player
Game 2: Losing player picks a Map and two Civs, winning player decides what Civ he/she plays
Game 3: Loser of the previous map picks a Map and two Civs, winner of the previous map decides what Civ he/she wants to play
Game 4: Persians - Four Lakes
Game 5: Loser of Game 3 Home map + Civ
Game 6: Winner of Game 4 Home map + Civ
Game 7: Mongols - Serengeti
Game 8: Huns - Seize The Mountain
Game 9: Goths - Four Lakes
Game 10: Cumans - Arabia
Game 11: Franks - Serengeti
This image is outdated, it looks slightly different now.
For RM events a lot of people agree that having the third round as a slightly longer series is better, as it's possible it's a rematch from Round 1. Having a longer series would make it clear this series is more important and has a more accurate result, so it might be something to consider.Qualification Round 3 (Bo5)
Game 1: Goths - Golden Pit
Game 2: Loser of Game 1 Home Map + Civ
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 Home Map + Civ
Game 4: Loser of Game 3 Home map + Civ
Game 5: Winner of Game 4 Home map + Civ
Is qualification for top 32 not invited based on DM ladder?
or game 3 it should be "the winner of game 1 picks 2 civs " .. else game 2-3 the same player has to pick the map /civFor the main event, I think that the losing player of G1 should be able to choose if he wants to be the one choosing the map and civs to be played or the one choosing the civ he wants to play among the two chosen, i.e., he chooses his role(sorry for the amount of chooses 11).
Thanks Andy! I've added more clarity to the restart rules. The restart rules dont fit each other ^^
4 - Restarts There will be no restarts
5 - A restart requested due to a bugged map does not count as one of the restarts awarded before a series.
And what if both players don't have the DLC? Do they both receive an admin loss?@Greendude439 players have to have the DLC , if they dont have it / cant download it => admin loss for that game
yes, only repeating civs is not allowedIs it possible that the same player chooses the same home map twice ? I saw that miguel and hydra played all but the first set map on arabia
