You're discussing a matter of law. There was no business/economic/property tort regarding the matter, therefore there was no illegality that took place. There is a difference between believing something is illegal, and it being adjudicated in a court of law. With no trademark infringement lawsuit -- which typically begins with a cease and desist letter, there is no illegality that has occurred, like it or not. What OBS offers is open source, but not their trademark, streamlabs have been using their brand to expand their name, that is illegal, it is like if you name a soda Fresh pepsi ice.
I thought streamlabs was a collaboration with them all this time, what disgusting way to abuse from a team that offers a service for free.
