The current round 4 pairings don't make sense to me. AIUI, the 2-1 teams should play each other, so we should have SY vs Tyrant. Then Suomi vs China A and VNA vs LoS
Correct. Was a bit too quick when posting the pairings.

Ah so it’s possible a team play again a team they already faced ? ThxThat would mean SY and Suomi are through. Tyrant would have to play Brazil to qualify as forth team. And will face AM who qualified first. And that means only one of those two would be in the final.
Not a big fan of this tbh it mean some team can qualify just by winning two teams, and somee not qualify just by losing to two teams. While others lost or won three differents team.
Yes, they will face again.I wondering something about this Swiss system. If suomi and tyrant win tomorrow, they both will advance to the semi-finals and China A will be eliminated. So there will be two team (Brazil and SY) with 2 win and 2 lost. Are they play a second match? Because they already play with each other in third week.
if SY and Suomi win tommorrow, TyRanT will also face Brazil, and this game happened already too, so the games tommorrow are extremly important, because we can get basically a "final" next week. A Huge one.Yes, they will face again.
But LoS and Suomi haven't played before either, so how do you decide which option you take as they both have a 2-2 record?for scenario 3, the first priority is not seeding but teams to play teams they have not yet met. so it should be SY vs Suomi and LOS vs China A
you're right, for some reason I thought LoS and ChinaA had already played each other, probably because of my phrasing in that paragraph 11if LOS play Suomi, then SY and China A would play again that is to say you then have an avoidable re-match
Maybe @swissboyy can tell what will decide the seeding if the teams have the same win record.
Seeding for the semi finals will be based on the performance of the teams in the group stage: Best team vs worst team, second vs third best team.
"Best" is the team with the least amounts of games needed to advance. If two teams have the same number of games they will be sorted by their head-to-head result. If they didn't play each other their tournament seeds will decide the order.
