i went there for quite a few years and had a lot of fun but eventually got bored.
Going regularly since about 2 months. Reason: I just wanted to have an easier time when lifting stuff. Enjoying it more everytime I go, its a habit now

What’s up man ? Why you wasn’t arround for so long in the forum @Internet_Hardman
Going to gym for 8 month now and kinda addicted now tbh. Reasons in first place were health and looking but now it's more about lifting higher weights from week to week and fight against your own body. Always a good feeling to see you get better at something.
Lets just go with I am closer to 100 than 200 kg in all of the big lifts.
Yeah, one rep max is really not the goal for me. That is up to the powerlifters. Don't have the numbers for that, and certainly not the mindset. Also no point in risking injury for that.
If I was going for it I don't think I'd be far from 150 kg in squats. Deadlifts surely limited by grip strength and hence below that, mybe 120/130. My only lifting goal is to get to 100 kg bench and 10+ chin ups. But overall I'm doing it for overall performance on the pitch and don't care too much about gym benchmarks. Also I'm not even semi professional, so with practise and riding the bike 15 km one way to work I can't do legs more than once a week and overall hardly get to two or three gym sessions a week.
