1. I think I'll open a poll to get more feedback.1. About mangrove maps, I'd say bog island is better than water nomad at it is more standard, however that's just my preference, both are quite similar.
2. Atoll for 1vs1 can be very annoying, specially with harbors, on a 4v4 t you still have some good space in the middle.
3. Cross 4vs4 > 2vs2. 2vs2 would be most likely a water+boom game, while 4vs4 opens the option for some shenanigans early on in the game.
4. Big Freeze -> Probably it's best option is 2vs2, the other are just too similiar to Arena.
5. Hippo's Belly for 2vs2 sounds good to me.
6. Seize the hump, better on 4vs4 imo, forces the team in to managing the space more, while on 2vs2/1vs1 you still got plenty places to go.
7. Lombardia: There are usually hills near the bases, this allowes the team to have a fwd base to attack from. I wouldn't say is similar to arabia on 4v4 as the distance from base to base is too big and most of the units will be on horseback.
8. Meatballs: This is the kind of weird map that allows for different strats, i guess 4vs4 would be most likely boom. Just make sure the water is not conected between teams, or if it is make it have some consistency.
9. Seize the hump with mangrove terrain would lose a little bit of it's personality, as it used to force the players to build in the middle, however, if the mangrove terrain doesn't have any resources the players would still need to go for the middle.
10. I think the map you are looking for it's plains? Often seen on DM tourneys.
2. Atoll would only be planned for 4v4.
3. I will consider it.
4. My solution would be: Arena 1v1+4v4, Big Freeze 2v2.
5. Yes, I'd choose only 2v2.
6./9. Only 4v4. The mangrove terrain should not have anything, just straight replace the shallows with mangrove terrain. I don't want to change any maps that much.
7. So, if I'd choose 2v2 or 4v4 only, would you consider 4v4 the better choice?
8. I would like to see it as 2v2. It has had quite some play in the past, there should be working version. Also, for some small fixes within the 4-week phase between map publication and tournament start, TheMadCADer and Chrazini should be available sometimes to assist.
10. Yes, I'm quite sure. Haven't seen it for RM in a long time.
