Are you the new deathcounter? On Voobly.
Are you the new deathcounter? On Voobly.
The skill is in making everyone believe you don't auto everything. Who posts aoezone apologies better?if everything is auto where is the skill?
I will show you my DE hotkey settings:
Select all idle tcs: H
Go to next military idle unit:F
Auto scout:F
Town center loom:H
I keep toching hotkey "H" while a game is being loaded.
When the game gets started, I will use hotkey "F" twice so Eagle sc will start moving in 1 second and Loom will start to be researched in TC
Yes and no, it depends. There's also the spirit of the law.As far as I know everything that isnt forbidden is allowed.
nullum crimen, nulla poena sine lege
Go to next military idle unit: wheel down
Auto scout: wheel down
Dude there is no spirit of the law. Ranked games have no rules.Yes and no, it depends. There's also the spirit of the law.
For instance, in a tennis match, it might not be explicitly forbidden to take a laser pointer out of your pocket and aim it at your opponent as he tries to serve.
So in theory Nadal could blind Jokovic on each serve cause it's not forbidden? I don't think so. Surely the rules will include something about sportsmanship. So it will be up to the judge to rule on such cases.
In this case, if 100% of aoe2 professionals think using a macro is cheating it doesn't matter if it's explicitly forbidden or not.
I laughed at this coincidence.Dude there is no spirit of the law. Ranked games have no rules.
People only get banned if big content creators cry loud enough.
Why do you say that? There are always rules.Ranked games have no rules.
I think he is talking in practical rather than theoretical terms. Why do you say that? There are always rules.
First you accepted terms and conditions of Steam and then you also accepted terms and conditions of aoe2:DE. And if we're talking about tournaments you also accepted those rules.
Besides, even if there were no rules that's still cheating. You don't need rules for that.
Let me explain about this macro.
I bought foot mouse one year ago for brain training cuz Spring says noboru is a brainless person.
I used to be using foot mouse with one key for one action.
I mostly used a macro key for Chinese or Mayans opening.
But actually I don't need to use this macro key for it.
I compared Mayans opening using a macro key with traditional hotkeys.
The result is that hotkeys is faster than a macro key.
If you can use a special hotkey technich I discovered, you can get scout move in zero seconds getting loom and booking villagers.
Top experts such as the viper or hera take about 5 seconds to do.
If you want to know how to do it, I can show it to you on my stream. https://www.twitch.tv/noboru43xxxx
In my oppinion, we shouldn't use a macro key on tournament games or ranked match.
Last, there is something that I would like to tell you.
Komtan is my best friend but he is known as a ****ing lamer and ***** and using so many macro keys.
I swear I never use a macro key on tournament games.
The logic would be that the result of casual game doesn't matter whereas that of a tournament does. I don't think it is good or even complete logic (casual games are played for fun and it is not fun when your opponent is cheating so cheating still matters there) but it might result in the behavior described. If you are willing to cheat in a casual game, why should we believe you wouldn't in a competitive one? If you wanna really test it, do it on an unranked match with a friend or on single player.
Sorry but what is the advantage over spamming 'go to tc' + 'loom' hotkeys at game start? If i had to guess this difference in loom time just came from Viper not being ready to play Mayans unlike you.I am not using a macro key but I can do this with only hotkeys on keyboads.
The minimap on second monitor doesn't give you an advantage UNLESS you already have a handicap like bad eyesight. Looking at the minimap regularly is faster and less of a distraction. I use the screen/area-grabbing program (it's not specifically designed for age or minimap, there's no way to forbid it) to create maps in the scenario editor (coupled with ghost-it to overlay a satellite image or whatever shapes and colors I want)Tbh, I’d feel like a hypocrite if I searched for it and posted it here as my stance on the like seems obvious.
It was talked about some time ago, searching mini-map or minimap or something like that will probably give you what you need if you’re serious about it. Never used it myself, but indeed I think it would be great too as my eyes are changing the older I get.
Edit: By “talked about” I mean here on aoezone.
It's in the game. You can have conflicting hotkeys that in different contexts still work. Often annoying when you realize you keep accidentally "Going to the LC" when you want to patrol your scout, so you have to reset it (me making the LC ctrl+Z again after realizing I hated it when it was just Z), but you can find clever ways to make them overlap like noboru.I have to admit its pretty ingenious 11, and its technically a new "click" per action.
But scrolling the scrollwheel, even though its multiple inputs, is basically one action (one flick of the finger) and thus at the very least this:
Is one action causing multiple in game actions.
Just my opinion though its definitely a tricky one.
But you already won just setting them up that way and seeing them work. It's in the game. You can have conflicting hotkeys that in different contexts still work. Of course setting these keys up in this way, in order to get rid of a few seconds of idle time, isn't going to win you any games, and may cause some annoyance later one when you want to click an idle military unit and accidentally start auto-scouting (though even then it's rare to need to use the Go To Idle Military Unit in that way).
