TheMadCADer created a map pack to be able to train the maps through random generation (each map has a 10% probability to occur): BOP_Map_Pack. Remember this pack is for training purposes. The maps have to be chosen individually in the tournament.
BOP_Dry_Arabia: Arabia with all water replaced by forest. Basically the arabia we all played, without the lakes. This is the map for the first game and not a part of home maps list.
BOP_Loch_Ness: A heavily forested map similar to baltic but with fairer fish. If you like big water maps, this one is for you.
BOP_Desert: Aggressive open land map, less wallable than arabia. A lot of gold can be found in the desert which is in the center of the map. Map control and aggressive play are the key to win the game.
BOP_Duopoly: Another aggressive open land map, less wallable than arabia. The map contains thin forest patches and hence lower amount of wood. Also, the distance between players is generally low.
BOP_Sand_Maze: Map with a small pool of water in middle and some fish. The amount of fish can vary, and sometimes there is no deep sea fish. Players are separated by terrain usable by both army and ships. Legends speak about demolition ships who killed entire armies that passed by.
BOP_Clearing: Closed land map. If you are fond of closed land maps, choose this but usually it takes more skill to wall than Black Forest and isn't as extreme. Do scout the map well and watch out because sometimes the map can be unusually open, so be alert and play accordingly.
BOP_Shorelands: The shorelands map used in WiC. Mixed land and water map, with a hard to wall crossing and scarcity of mines.
BOP_Drought: Standard land map, with only 6 sheep and 1 boar per player. There are lakes with shorefish, and in some cases could be used to dock and fish if you can protect it well.
BOP_Cross: Standard land map with backwaters on four corners of the map and lots of fish. Players typically start quite close to each other.
BOP_Steppe: You start without TC, but unlike nomad you start in your own spot. You start with a horse instead of scout. You get +3 villagers and 3 yurts (houses) in addition. Lots of deer in the middle. Pure land map.
