Huehuecoyotl22's posts are very relevant and it's not different when he takes his time to bring us something great like AoE Olympics. You may not like the amount of posts, but they are definitely not spam.
I think is not the point from OP. If you are not interested in one subject you have the choice to get rid of it by doing "mark as read" and that's fine it's a good tool for those who don't wanna see. This doesn't mean these post are spam.
The word chosen by OP was spam and I just wanted to state it's clearly not what the screen print shows. AoE2 community is lucky to have guys like Huehuecoyotl22 doing amazing things. We should support their efforts and help them out instead of complain and take everything they do for granted. The complaint made is neither correct or helpful, so why make it?
Big +1While it's not spam, it can definitely be annoying. It happens with numerous tournaments and events.
Having the option to exclude your thread from the "latest posts" would be a great addition to the site. Something that you could simply tick during the thread creation. Would be ideal for these kinds of threads that are definitely necessary and by no means spam, but really shouldn't show up as "latest posts".

Only threadstarter will have to, but i think that affects only the first post...Wouldn't only the thread starter need to do that? That would be the best solution instead of potentially having hundreds of people forget to click it
I guess signups and scheduling post should be both considered.the ones in OP is signups
robo created the subforums for me, so is it already done for the scheduling subforum or who can do it?Only threadstarter will have to, but i think that affects only the first post...
There is already a custom-thread-field created (Scheduling forum) and that can be attached to forums. If you create any scheduling-forums please attach that field to the forum and i will check the possibilities for filtering on that. Its under the "Forums" menu at the left in admin.
Thats also true. Still, personally I would prefer to have an option to disable signups by default, when/in case I feel overwhelmed, but be able to check for them separately. Then, it will be interesting for other people to see who signs up, so I think it would be bad to hide or restrict the registration and sign-up topics.
