What are your ideas that you'd like to see in future tournaments?
Here are mine:
1. Format
I already made a thread about it here, where I suggested the Swiss System (which is now being used in BoA) and the GSL System. Personally I prefer the GSL System, but I'm glad the Swiss System is being used instead of a Round Robin System.
2. Civilizations
Since the introduction of WololoKingdoms we've seen a lot of Captains Mode being used. I like the Captains Mode, although I think there can be some improvements made. I think an improvement could be to do the Draft earlier, so players have time to prepare strategies for specific maps. This only works of course when you're drafting civs for an entire series and on different maps, like for example in BoA. Another idea would be to maybe let the players pick the civs without knowing what the other picked (so non-global picks) and for the next game the players can't pick any of the civs they picked for the previous game (also not the civ from the opponent). I guess this could be called a semi-global pick or something like that.
3. Maps
With the introduction of UP 1.5 it is also possible to choose the position of certain colours in a mapscript, so you can choose which players (and thus which civs) can be pocket. I think it would be really cool to see this feature used in some future tournaments, I think it makes teamgames a bit less random.
What do you think? You have any other ideas that you'd like to see?
