This thread is not here to complain about the new civs since we already have 2 of those. Please post real thoughts and not memes. Yes I also dislike that they are European and yes it's a money grab use other threads to discuss this. And yes there are bugs in the game. Also STFU Deathcounter.
My thoughts and Ideas.
Burgundians
Coustillier seam like an okay concept but I hope they learned form Empires Apart and don't make it to strong.
"Economic upgrades are available one Age earlier than other civs" seams completely broken to me at least on closed maps like Arena. Make it research 100% faster instead and this is fine with me, it gives you a "mini Vikings" with some extra villagers once you get Hand Cart and Wheel Barrow.
"Fallen Knights return 50% of their gold cost" Is an easy to balance bonus by just changing the 50% to a reasonable number I would start with 33%.
Burgundian Vineyards seams very stupid and needs to be changed completely.
Flemish Revolution and Flemish Militia seams like a different take on the Spanish Supremacy tech and is fine with me but instantly converting all villagers instantly could lead to some very silly games that are impossible to win. Imagine your opponent has 60 Arbalests and then suddenly they have 60 Arbalests and 140 pikes.
Sicilians
"Land military units absorb 33% of bonus damage" fine with me but it could lead to games where you just spam knights through pikes or Arbs through Skirmishers and still win but with them being focused on infantry this could work out okay.
"Each Farm upgrade grants Farmers +1 carry capacity" is fine with me.
I think First Crusade is actually fine with some small changes at the point where you have 3+ TC and a castle + UT 21 units could be okay as long as they aren't to strong. It could be a problem if this let's you go over 200 units when both are pop capped and boom you have 70 extra units... Also on Arena where you just boom with 10 TC and get a army with one click. So my idea is to just cap it out at 3 TCs so you never get more then 21 units.
Scutage is hard to evaluate and potentially very strong I would just wait and see here.
Let's hope so.

Burgundians
- Coustillier: Cavalry unit that can charge their attack stat
- Flemish Militia: Heavy infantry unit with a bonus vs cavalry; can only be obtained via the Flemish Revolution technology (see below)

- Burgundian Vineyards: Convert all food into gold at a 2:1 ratio
- Flemish Revolution: Upgrades all existing Villagers to Flemish Militia

Castles going up faster is very stupid at least in Castle Age when there is no real counter to castles. I am fine with the TC bonus at least for now.
- Castles and Town Centers are constructed 100% faster
- Land military units absorb 33% of all incoming bonus damage
- Each Farm upgrade grants Farmers +1 carry capacity

So it's just the Krepost all over again?Donjon: Unique fortification used to train Serjeants. Units can garrison in the building for protection; Archers and Villagers shoot additional projectiles when garrisoned
Well this could give us some stupid games...Serjeant: Infantry unit which can also construct Donjons
- First Crusade: Upon researching, each Town Center spawns a one-time group of 7 Serjeants
- Scutage: Upon researching, each team member receives a one-time payment of 15 gold for each military unit that they own

Let's hope so.
