One question, did the opening ceremony sound like that (indecipherable) to you guys or was that just the streaming rig **** up?

That salute. 8-)

I obviously can't speak for WSVG, nor is that my job. I would assume they will, at some point, make an official statement about the whole event...
Just one question, though - if the opening ceremony wasn't supposed to be broadcast, why was the WSVG twitter account advertising the live stream of it all day yesterday?

But the way I see it, it really wasn't supposed to be streamed, otherwise they wouldn't have used a channel with 90 followers and not even a Twitch Partnership to do it.

OK
How about Memb and Katsuni?? Why they did not receive support while being promised and publicized on WSVG website.
Was this also a WSVG **** up, I see you guys managed to reach there. It's quite shameful that these 2 people who have put their heart, soul and good amount of time of their lives in streaming for Voobly and they are ignored. How many times they have streamed for 5+ hours non stop and for free.

For me, Katsuni and Memb were the main reason why I've been back to this great game for the last year or so, and actively watched pretty much all the events there have been. Some people say they could prevent AoC from going really big and reaching larger audiences but I think it's the exact opposite of that. This game is not getting any younger and they are more entertaining and easier to relate to for many of us so-called older people than all the boring young nerds with whiny tones (no offense to anyone of course, I enjoy many other streamers as well.) That kind of enthusiasm, and those a bit "different" personalities are just what this game needs to get the odd random visitor hooked and the community blooming.
I really hope they continue streaming in the future in spite of this, because personally I might get a "bit" discouraged.
