Hi,
As a 16xx myself, I am tired of playing trash war 1v1 with my friend. The games keep going on for hours without anyway to break the stalemate because my opponent and me both have a castle at a well-placed choke point.
So I wonder if it is a good idea to have self trading ability? The trading cart (and trading ship, or whatever their name is) can be nerfed and only receive 30% gold compared to normal trade.
In my opinion, it will encourage players from playing defensively. Players with map control advantage can have stable gold income to build or research essential upgrades (trebs and/or hussars), but the income is insignificant enough to build mass gold units.
Your thought on the issue?
PS: this is just a discussion, as I have no idea if the implementation of this feature is feasible or not.
