New DLC splitting Indians up into multiple civs is certainly worrisome for the state of the most objectively good civ™, but I think as usual rumors of non pay-to-win DLC civs will prove to be greatly exaggerated.

war wagon are not OP without a Teuton teammate, trash monks are not OP (ask any clown why Bohemians are good in late game, it is absolutely not because of monks costing food), and camel scouts won't change the meta at all because they will die to archersAll the new civs are plain broken, geez just what we needed the most, new broken civs to fully ignore obuch, ww,clown 2 castle strats UU, houfnice, trash monks, lets all enjoy the new knight that dodges arrows, the elephant ram, the infantry and cavalry that ignores armor, the ships that regenerates 15 hp per minute and a new camel scout to change the meta on the tgs and force most players to buy the dlc...
I've never even seen someone get the trash monks techwar wagon are not OP without a Teuton teammate, trash monks are not OP (ask any clown why Bohemians are good in late game, it is absolutely not because of monks costing food), and camel scouts won't change the meta at all because they will die to archers

What're you talking about? The new civs seem incredibly weak to me, at least in pure land maps. All the new civs are plain broken, geez just what we needed the most, new broken civs to fully ignore obuch, ww,clown 2 castle strats UU, houfnice, trash monks, lets all enjoy the new knight that dodges arrows, the elephant ram, the infantry and cavalry that ignores armor, the ships that regenerates 15 hp per minute and a new camel scout to change the meta on the tgs and force most players to buy the dlc...
I've warned you when everybody started to open up threads, dynasty business is getting cheap. And now it is at cheapest of all levels for AoeZone, which is devs of AOE.I want my share, they copied so many of my ideas already and gave nothing in return ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Is the Superskinny dynasty over? And has the devs dynasty just begun?Wow!!!! @SuperskinnyBLS How does it feel that your title of Dynasty Decider has been supplanted by the AoE2 devs??
Who do we even ask? Do we ask the devs?Is the Superskinny dynasty over? And has the devs dynasty just begun?
I hope they will react better than official patch timeline. We can bring down dynasties in couple of hours here, couple of years waiting would be too much.Who do we even ask? Do we ask the devs?
bengalis are not an archer civ, is an elephant civWhat're you talking about? The new civs seem incredibly weak to me, at least in pure land maps.
Bengalis: an archer civ without thumb ring 11
Dravidians: only option is to go foot archers
Gurjaras: feels like a weaker Indian civ (until we see Srivamsha rider stats at least)
The only decent one, in 1v1 and maps, seem to be Hindustanis (Indians), and you don't need to buy them. Indians are arguably nerfed now, no fish bonus, no +3 pierce armour in castle age, no parthian tactics and elephant archers.
Cavalry that ignore armour - that civ has THE worst cavalry in the game.
Infantry ignoring armour is powerful, but then again infantry are weak in general. It will be a slightly better garland wars, except when facing off against Teutons or Boyars.
Camel scouts are gonna die hard to archers, and possibly even to shirms.
The new civs seem to be strong only in water maps, and they aren't really played a lot.

Monks with Redemption are a counter to onagers/SOs and bombard cannonsMass monks don't add much to a trash war when there are hussars and skirms running around and not many knights/elephants/camels left.
They'll need block printing too preferably (def necessary vs bombard cannons).Monks with Redemption are a counter to onagers/SOs and bombard cannons
My man do as I did, forget about playing and just watch it, never stress out over a game again! 11All the new civs are plain broken, geez just what we needed the most, new broken civs to fully ignore obuch, ww,clown 2 castle strats UU, houfnice, trash monks, lets all enjoy the new knight that dodges arrows, the elephant ram, the infantry and cavalry that ignores armor, the ships that regenerates 15 hp per minute and a new camel scout to change the meta on the tgs and force most players to buy the dlc...
I mean Indians still exist, they just change the name from the one that was given to them by the Greeks/ British invaders, to the one that was given to them by the Persians/Mongol invaders, adding a muslim connotation. So the exnonymic umbrellar term civ remains without becoming any more specific.New DLC splitting Indians up into multiple civs is certainly worrisome for the state of the most objectively good civ™, but I think as usual rumors of non pay-to-win DLC civs will prove to be greatly exaggerated.
