Well done... If Jordan wins the tournament you will climb even higher.
I interpret the rules as Jordan and Viper did: When two players get the same total score, then their match result will decide their internal placement.
There are two favourites for the win, but some others (including you!) might steal their win if the scoring goes weird. Click the link below if you like to see which those scores are.
Jordan-Yellow is scheduled for Sunday 8:00 GMT. I hope Yellow will win some game, that would keep the excitment up both in this contest and in the tournament with the Viper-Daut match left.
I didn't expect to see myself in 1st/2nd place at all. I guess all the time I've spent watching game recs paid off in some way.
Although if I do happen to make 1st place at the end of it all I'd like to donate the prize back for use in more of these prediction contests. They're fun!
The last time i looked i was place 16.
One game was in the meantime(Jordan - Yellow).
I predicted that game correctly.
Now i am place 20. How and why??
@Sky95, the Jordan-Yellow game finishing had more implications than just the 4 possible points for predicting that outcome. It also solidified the final point totals for Jordan and Yellow, as well as the final placement of Yellow and Riut (assuming the tiebreaks will be head-to-head... I'll change if decision goes another way). So, in fact there were up to 12 points possible to be gained after that match, and while you did get 4 from that match, you only received 2 additional points for predicting Yellow to finish 5th, for 6 of 12 possible points. People who passed you in rankings earned more than 6.
@_Feanor_, Seeing as you are just posting this now, I'm guessing you looked at this scoreboard after the recorded games were posted for the Jordan-Yellow series. That match took place early Sunday morning (for me) and I watched the stream and updated the standings that day, before the recorded games were posted. So I'm guessing you are just looking at the same scoreboard. You had 37 points prior to that match.
The contest is now over. The final standings can be seen on the first post in this topic. Congratulations to Chris167 for winning the CoT RR Prediction Contest with 64 points! Chris's predictions were incredibly prescient, predicting the exact score of 7/15 matches, and having just 1 of his predictions off by more than 1 game. He also predicted the correct "winner" of each match in all but 1 set. Chris's prediction, along with the actual results, are listed below.
