Ironically their forced settings to prevent inflated guys lost all value and means at the moment they created the perfect circumstances to reach 3k elo and higher on the tg ladder, they could have stopped it when the inflation reached globally 1k elo difference btw the ladders, but they didn't cause they simple didn't care enough or were happy saying to themselves and others "i am 2400 tg" so they could taste for a moment the feeling of being really good comparing those numbers to the old platforms.
Anyway don't waste more energy arguing with people who attacks and hate people doing alt f4, they are a minority, otherwise alt f4 wouldn't even be a thing, they just want to play nomad or other maps all the time with their friends, they manipulate the current system, by banning and put as favorite 2 different maps so the system will go for the less banned and favorited option aka their home maps.
You can also abuse that in the 1x1, i know several players who skyrocket their ranks on maps like 4 lakes, so there is no evidence that the current system has prevented players getting higher ranks playing exclusively one map, in fact it just created new clowns who specialize in maps with low play rate.
But you just did it.
Your analogy doesn't fit the bill. Homelessness is a societal problem that affects people in serious ways, in which we should seek to improve the fundamental issues as well as provide safe haven in the present. Homeless people aren't choosing against a viable option when they become homeless or sleep in public spaces.
Queue dodgers act out of pure selfishness. They have a CHOICE to follow the rules. Heck, they have a choice to play the same way we've played for two decades and host a lobby. Instead, they Act in a way that hurts others while trying to get what they want. I don't think my analogy was too far off.
@Kwik, if only we had the player base of CSGO: average 500,000 players vs 15,000.
Why do people keep saying play lobbies like it's an actual option? Can we have a serious discussion please? Just stop saying that.
Why are we assuming that DE map pool system is the best version of match making? Or that's it even good for that matter? They clearly (devs) don't even play the game, after not 1, but 2 DCL my party breaks every time the match finishes or someone alt+4, your recently played list isn't even in order!!!
Please stop blaming the ALT + f4 players, nothing productive is going to happen with that rant.
Let's focus in the systen and their new fix, time penalty for alt+f4, wich im sure many players are going to have to unjustly endure after random crashes.
The current system is bad, TG: while 70%+ of the player pool prefers to play a game in Arabia, 1 player (out of 8) can simply ban it and deny it for the other 7, can someone explain how does that make sense? Why don't we have a voting system? 1v1: I can ban the same map forever, why does that make sense? Shouldn't we prevent that? (maybe make it less likely with a ban? Not 100% ban?)
Can we please talk about similar ideas instead of stupid rants. Thanks.
