I'm not disappointed he is leaving for Facebook. He can do what he wants. I am disappointed that during the Viper mixer timeline he said that he isn't leaving twitch because he loves the community he built too much just to leave for money. Now that he is more popular than ever, he is leaving his community for money. Promising loyalty to your community and then leaving for money shortly thereafter is a low move.
It's like the superstar on your favorite team saying he won't leave cause he loves his fans and the team too much but then leaves the team next year for a better contract. If the superstar never promised any loyalty, then you couldn't fault him for leaving cause that's just a business move. However, because the player created expectations to everyone then people feel pretty disappointed and used when the player leaves.
That's a good point, and that's why Viper is my favourite streamer.
Viper has an impeccable work ethic as I could've seen so far. I never saw him sticking with "I'm in for the community" "let's help the game grow" or any of that bullshit. He is there for the money and he always makes it clear. And there is NOTHING wrong with it. Also he never engages into dramas, false expectations or any other kind of stupid things that's ultimately disrespectful towards the audience and the community. He's always very transparent with his goals and his limits towards his community afaik.
But about T90, as I have said in another topic, he certainly done the right thing moving to facebook. But yeah maybe he shouldn't have said those things you mentioned. Not that it's some kind of huge sin or anything like that. Everyone makes mistakes.
