Re: Use of hotkey scripts/macro's to improve micro managemen
1. True, but after Mia's post we already came to the conclusion that it's not just AutoHotKey and similar tools, but also hardware drivers that provide this functionality. Banning certain tools while allowing advanced equipment would be an unfair advantage to those who can afford it. Of course you are entitled to a different opinion.
2. I'm only saying: there are different ways to relocate the mouse pointer. Another example: just use the arrow keys to scroll. You see what happens to the mouse pointer? This means I can get the mouse pointer at any location of the map by just using keys. The only exception would be deselecting (a Monk for instance) from the current selection (as you have to click outside the playing area). Just because there is no hotkey for that function, but a combination of CTRL+click. I don't see why that should be a problem. Please note that every Knight to be converted still has to be hovered over and clicked manually. But anyway, it would be impossible to block this kind of functionality entirely without disabling hardware drivers.
3. Yep, he shows the macro functionality for the keyboard, but this same software also works for the mouse, see here.
